Painting with watercolors for over 40 years has been my joy. I received an Associates of Arts degree in the field of Fine Arts in college and as opportunity has availed itself I have sat under some very accomplished artists such as Tom Lynch and Paul St. Dennis. Besides all the art classes I have taken throughout school, I have enrolled in evening and weekend classes at local community colleges and with local town artists and artist friends. I enthusiastically continue to develop my skills at handling this medium of watercolor.

               Not being a "watercolor purist" I will use whatever it takes to achieve my goal with each painting even if it takes an unconventional technique. My quest is to evoke a positive response from the viewer and to hold their attention for a time, not just have them say "that's a nice painting". This dynamic creation we live in holds for me so many eye catching subjects that I am always on the look out for new objects to include in my next painting. A dear friend once told me "Paint what you love" and so I do.

               I have enjoyed accepting many commissioned works. Those projects have challenged me the most, endeavoring to please my customer with the best I have.
